Box Style Finder

Most people know what they are packing, not which four-digit code it wants. Answer what you can below and this will narrow 325 box styles down to a handful worth opening. Skip anything you are unsure of.

Is it for shipping or retail?

Shipping means a carrier handles it. Retail means a customer sees it.

Does it need to lock closed on its own?

A self-locking base holds without tape, at the cost of a slower pack.

Can you glue it?

Pre-glued blanks erect fastest but carry a higher minimum order.

Corrugated or cartonboard?

Corrugated is fluted board for transit. Cartonboard is the thinner folding board used for retail packs.

How heavy is the product?

Roughly: light under 2 kg, medium 2 to 10 kg, heavy above that.

Suggestions

Answer a question or two and suggestions will appear here.

These are starting points, not a specification. The finder works from how each style is built, and it cannot know your product, your line or your carrier. Open the ones that look close, generate the dieline at your own dimensions, and cut and fold a sample before committing to a die.
