Every ECMA carton code

All 206 styles in ECMA Codes EN 2022, grouped by design type. 18 are matched to a template you can generate now; the rest are listed so you can see exactly what is here and what is not.

Why so few are matched. We build 97 folding carton styles, but only 18 carry a confirmed ECMA code. Assigning the others would mean guessing which published style each one is, and a wrong code is worse than no code — it sends somebody to a converter with the wrong specification. The comparison that settles this for corrugated cannot yet do it for cartons, so until it can, these stay unclaimed. How the check works.

A Long-seam-glued folding cartons with rectangular surfaces

A glue seam in the height is compulsory, so the blank forms a tube. All outer panels sit at 90° to each other, apart from gable tops and some sealed closures.

53 styles; 9 built here.

B Non-long-seam-glued folding cartons with rectangular surfaces

No long-seam gluing, so the blank forms a tray rather than a tube. All outer panels sit at 90° to each other.

35 styles; 9 built here.

C Long-seam-glued folding cartons with non-rectangular surfaces

A tube again, but at least one panel of the main body is not rectangular, and the height need not meet the base at 90°.

16 styles; 0 built here.

D Non-long-seam-glued folding cartons with non-rectangular surfaces

A tray whose base or at least one panel is not rectangular, and whose height need not meet the base at 90°.

E Product-related or integrated folding cartons

Designed to work with a specific product or primary pack rather than as a general container.

22 styles; 0 built here.

F Other folding carton styles

Everything that cannot be attributed clearly to groups A to E, sub-grouped by which main group it relates to, or by flat panels, curved surfaces, or separate inlays.
