Wrap-around multipack Box Template Generator
Wrap-around multipack. The board is wrapped round a block of product and glued to itself underneath. Open at both ends, so the pack itself carries the shape.
Checked against the plate. This blank has been compared side by side with the drawing in the FEFCO Code, 12th Edition, and matches. That is a statement about the drawing, not a guarantee — always cut and fold a sample before committing to a die.
What is Wrap-around multipack?
Wrap-around multipack is a rigid or lined folding carton. The board is wrapped round a block of product and glued to itself underneath. Open at both ends, so the pack itself carries the shape.
Uses
- High-volume packing lines, since a pre-glued blank erects in one movement
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Arrives glued and flat, and erects quickly by hand or by machine
Disadvantages
- The glued joint sets the minimum order — short runs are rarely economical
Typical industries
- General packing and light manufacturing
Recommended board grades
Folding boxboard or solid bleached board, typically 250–450 microns. Heavier board for larger cartons, lighter where the carton is filled by machine.

Scored against the ECMA 2022 plate on page 59 with scripts/plate-diff.py: 0.998, MATCH (cut found 0.964, no cut of ours the plate lacks, creases 1.00 both ways). The hook locks are modelled as real slits rather than decoration — see the note on JointLocks in this file — which is what took the fold lines from 0.65 coverage to 1.00 and the score from 0.641 to 0.964.
