Pillow box Box Template Generator

Pillow box. A glued two-panel tube whose ends are pushed in on curved fold lines so the pack closes itself into a pillow. The front panel carries a thumb notch at each end.

Checked against the plate. This blank has been compared side by side with the drawing in the FEFCO Code, 12th Edition, and matches. That is a statement about the drawing, not a guarantee — always cut and fold a sample before committing to a die.

Measured against the p.81 plate with scripts/plate-diff.py: score 0.925, MATCH, cut 1.000 found / 0.938 extra, crease 1.000 / 1.000. Two panels 53.20 wide over a body 99.75 tall with a 16.63 glue lap chamfered 16.62 at both corners; the end fold sags 7.13 into the panel and the end cut rises 7.08 out of it, both circular — a circle fitted to the fold gives radius 53.18 on a 53.20 chord and predicts the sampled point at 6.34 from the corner to 0.00. The plate's H arrow spans cut apex to fold trough and reads 14.25, so H/2 is the sagitta of each arc. Thumb notch radius 3.32 on the front panel only. THE MISSING 0.062 OF CUT IS THE REFERENCE, NOT THE DRAWING: ecma_geom chains arrowhead barbs from a dropped segment with no limit, the H arrow's head lands on the second panel's top cut arc, and the chain then walks the flattened curve and deletes it from (256.66, 279.21) to the corner at 285.55 — 29 of that arc's 53 units. Every one of those units is scored against this template as ink the plate does not have.
