Gable top, crash lock base is a folding carton with a glued side seam, closing at each end with a tuck, a lock or a glued flap. A gable top on a self-erecting glued base — the fastest of the peaked cartons to put up, since the base pops open as the tube is squared and only the top is folded by hand.
Uses

Folding boxboard or solid bleached board, typically 250–450 microns. Heavier board for larger cartons, lighter where the carton is filled by machine.

ECMA 2022 code newly claimed. The p.29 plate draws the same gable top over the crash-lock base drawn to the same numbers as A60.20.00.03 and A60.01.00.00. 60 for the base, 75 for the top, 00 for the base panel pair because a crash lock hangs off no single panel.
