FEFCO 0801 Box Template Generator
Raised-back display tray. A slotted-style body wrap whose four walls are not all the same height: one breadth wall stands the full case height, the two length walls rake down in a straight line to a low front lip, and the other breadth wall is cut to that same low lip with a second, notched panel hinged above it that climbs back to the full height. The dump-bin silhouette — tall at the back, scooped low at the front — from a single blank with an ordinary slotted floor.
Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.
What is FEFCO 0801?
FEFCO 0801 is a standard board construction.
Uses
- Transit and e-commerce packing, where the box is handled by a carrier
- Retail and gift packaging, where the box is seen by the customer
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
Disadvantages
- No standard style suits every product; check the fit against a sample before committing to a tool
Typical industries
- Retail display
Recommended board grades
Folding boxboard or solid bleached board, typically 250–450 microns. Heavier board for larger cartons, lighter where the carton is filled by machine.
