FEFCO 0607 Box Template Generator

Rigid box, plain body with flanged ends. The same wall-base-wall-lid body as 0601 but cut as a plain creased strip: here it is the end panels that carry the flanges, folded back all round to be fixed inside the tube.

Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.

What is FEFCO 0607?

FEFCO 0607 is assembled from more than one part and delivered made-up rather than flat, so they hold their shape before being filled. The same wall-base-wall-lid body as 0601 but cut as a plain creased strip: here it is the end panels that carry the flanges, folded back all round to be fixed inside the tube.

Single wall B or E flute, frequently lined or wrapped. These are set-up boxes, so board stiffness matters more than crush resistance.

No plate badge, and the reason is measured rather than doubted. Scored against its own plate it reads 1.000 — the drawing is not in question — but its fold topology is shared, and a fit that solves for proportions cannot say WHICH of the sharing plates it matched. Through scripts/settle-shared.py the best rival reaches 0.974: 0608 0.974, 0616 0.652, 0610 0.643, 0620 0.249, 0605 0.190. The pair is described at length in the note on 0608: both blanks prefer the 0607 drawing on p83, and neither can be told from the other by a fit that solves for proportions. A match on a shared pattern rules other readings OUT rather than ruling this one in, so the badge is withheld — see the docstring in scripts/grant-badges.py.
