FEFCO 0616 Box Template Generator

Rigid box, base-first body with square-cornered ends. The same base-first body as 0615 but with ordinary single flanges on the end panels, cut square out at the corners.

Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.

What is FEFCO 0616?

FEFCO 0616 is assembled from more than one part and delivered made-up rather than flat, so they hold their shape before being filled. The same base-first body as 0615 but with ordinary single flanges on the end panels, cut square out at the corners.

Uses

Jobs where the depth or the fit has to be adjusted after packing

Advantages

A standard construction, so most converters can quote it from the code alone

Disadvantages

Needs 3 separate pieces, so there is more than one tool and more than one part to handle
Delivered made-up rather than flat, so it costs more to store and to ship empty

Single wall B or E flute, frequently lined or wrapped. These are set-up boxes, so board stiffness matters more than crush resistance.
