What is FEFCO 0301?

FEFCO 0301 is built from two or more pieces, most often a separate lid over a body, so the depth can vary with what is packed. Single wall B or C flute is usual. The lid and body are often the same board; a heavier body under a lighter lid is worth considering where only the body carries the stack.

Measured 0.987 against the p32 plate (cut 1.000/1.000, crease 1.000/1.000). ONE THING ON THIS PAGE DISAGREES WITH ITSELF and it is worth knowing before changing the lid depth. p32's BLANK draws this lid's walls at the same depth as the tray's — 20.35 against 20.4 on a base of 82.1 by 61.9, a ratio of 0.998 — and its ISOMETRIC beside it draws the erected lid as a shallow rim, clearly shallower than 0300's on the same page. The blank and the picture cannot both be right. This template follows the BLANK, which is the thing a die maker cuts and the thing this site exports, and which is also how 0300, 0302 and 0303 are already drawn (1.0, 0.9 and 0.9) against equal-depth blanks of their own. Drawn to the isometric instead, at the 0.35 this used to carry, the code scores 0.786. `lidDepth` is a live parameter, so a shallower lid is one number away for anyone who wants the isometric's box.
