What is FEFCO 0936?

FEFCO 0936 is a part that goes inside another box — a partition, pad, liner or corner piece — rather than a container in its own right. A single strip folded into a small floor-anchoring foot and a doubled-up wall standing off it, the wall spanning the width of the case. One piece, no glue, no slots.

Uses

Transit and e-commerce packing, where the box is handled by a carrier
Protecting or separating goods inside a larger case
High-volume packing lines, since a pre-glued blank erects in one movement

Advantages

Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
Arrives glued and flat, and erects quickly by hand or by machine
Cut from offcuts or lighter board than the outer case, so it adds little cost

Disadvantages

The glued joint sets the minimum order — short runs are rarely economical
