Same rolled sides as the 0427 but the lid tucks down the front face rather than inside, giving a clean full-width front panel to print on. Popular for premium retail mailers.

Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Locks closed without glue or tape, which saves a consumable and a step

- Hand-locking takes longer per box than a taped or glued closure

Recommended board grades
Folding boxboard or solid bleached board, typically 250–450 microns. Heavier board for larger cartons, lighter where the carton is filled by machine.
