FEFCO 0200 Box Template Generator

Half Slotted Container (HSC). An RSC with the top flaps left off — half-breadth flaps on the bottom only. Used as an open-top tray or bin, often with a separate lid dropped over it.

What is FEFCO 0200?

FEFCO 0200 is cut from one piece, glued or stitched along a single manufacturer’s joint, and shipped flat. Flaps fold in at both ends to close it. An RSC with the top flaps left off — half-breadth flaps on the bottom only. Used as an open-top tray or bin, often with a separate lid dropped over it.

Uses

• General packing where a simple, economical board box is wanted

Advantages

• Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
• The most widely made board box there is, so it is quick to source and cheap per unit

Disadvantages

• The flaps meet but do not overlap, so the ends are the weakest part of the box

Recommended board grades

Single wall B or C flute for most shipping. Double wall BC or EB where the load is heavy, the box is large, or it will be stacked several high in a warehouse.
