FEFCO 0227 Box Template Generator

Slotted container with a lid at each end. Both ends are the same drawing mirrored: a plain full-breadth flap off one long panel and a lid off the other, thumb-notched and with a lip hinged on each corner that folds down inside to hold it. The end flaps are cut back by that lip width so the lid seats flush. Opens from either end and needs no tape.

What is FEFCO 0227?

FEFCO 0227 is cut from one piece, glued or stitched along a single manufacturer’s joint, and shipped flat. Flaps fold in at both ends to close it. Advantages

The flaps meet but do not overlap, so the ends are the weakest part of the box
