What is FEFCO 0205?

FEFCO 0205 is cut from one piece, glued or stitched along a single manufacturer’s joint, and shipped flat. Flaps fold in at both ends to close it. Every flap is half the length. The flaps on the breadth panels meet at the centre while those on the length panels overlap well past it, so the top is double-covered across its whole width.

Single wall B or C flute for most shipping. Double wall BC or EB where the load is heavy, the box is large, or it will be stacked several high in a warehouse.

Badged, with the last ambiguity closed by measurement rather than waived. The fit puts every sibling but a few below the 0.90 bar, and those that survive it are separated by FLAP DEPTH AGAINST PANEL WIDTH — the detail FEFCO uses across this family, and the one grant-badges.py names as needing a person. The fitter cannot use it: it rescales x and y independently, and flap depth runs across one axis where panel width runs across the other. Measured in each plate's OWN units, this plate draws 0.683 and our blank draws 0.750, a gap of 0.067. The survivors: 0202 scores 0.982 on the fit and draws 0.567 (2.7x further from ours). Every rival is therefore excluded, which is the bar — not that the score was high. Our own 0.750 against the plate's 0.683 is a real if small difference in the drawing, recorded here rather than smoothed over.
