FEFCO 0211 Box Template Generator
Slotted container, lid and bottom on opposite walls. A full-depth lid hinged off one long wall and a full-depth bottom panel hinged off the other, with dust flaps on the ends. The two panels swing from opposite sides, which is what separates this from 0210 where both hang off the same wall.
Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.
What is FEFCO 0211?
FEFCO 0211 is cut from one piece, glued or stitched along a single manufacturer’s joint, and shipped flat. Flaps fold in at both ends to close it. A full-depth lid hinged off one long wall and a full-depth bottom panel hinged off the other, with dust flaps on the ends. The two panels swing from opposite sides, which is what separates this from 0210 where both hang off the same wall.
Uses
- General packing where a simple, economical board box is wanted
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- The most widely made board box there is, so it is quick to source and cheap per unit
Disadvantages
- The flaps meet but do not overlap, so the ends are the weakest part of the box
Typical industries
- General packing and light manufacturing
Recommended board grades
Single wall B or C flute for most shipping. Double wall BC or EB where the load is heavy, the box is large, or it will be stacked several high in a warehouse.
