FEFCO 0451.1 Box Template Generator
Locking version of the side-hung ear tray. The 0451 blank with the corner ears hooked and slotted so the erected tray holds itself square without glue or tape.
Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.
What is FEFCO 0451.1?
FEFCO 0451.1 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. The 0451 blank with the corner ears hooked and slotted so the erected tray holds itself square without glue or tape.
Uses
- High-volume packing lines, since a pre-glued blank erects in one movement
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Arrives glued and flat, and erects quickly by hand or by machine
Disadvantages
- The glued joint sets the minimum order — short runs are rarely economical

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
