FEFCO 0407 Box Template Generator
Wrap with a double-tucked centre wall. A row of five panels — wall, narrow wall, centre wall, narrow wall, wall — where only the centre panel carries a flap, at both ends: a first band as deep as the narrow panels, then a second, narrower return beyond it that tucks further in.
Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.
What is FEFCO 0407?
FEFCO 0407 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. A row of five panels — wall, narrow wall, centre wall, narrow wall, wall — where only the centre panel carries a flap, at both ends: a first band as deep as the narrow panels, then a second, narrower return beyond it that tucks further in.
Uses
- General packing where a simple, economical board box is wanted
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Locks closed without glue or tape, which saves a consumable and a step
Disadvantages
- Hand-locking takes longer per box than a taped or glued closure

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
