What is FEFCO 0461?
FEFCO 0461 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. Infolded webs close all four corners and the two side walls fold back on themselves to full depth. Three tabs on each returned ply drop through slits in the base, so the doubled sides stay down and the tray holds square with no glue.
Uses
- High-volume packing lines, since a pre-glued blank erects in one movement
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Arrives glued and flat, and erects quickly by hand or by machine
Disadvantages
- The glued joint sets the minimum order — short runs are rarely economical

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
