FEFCO 0405 Box Template Generator
Two crossed folders, short inner liner. Two separate blanks, like 0404: an outer strip ½W, H, W, H, ½W cut a board thickness oversize so it wraps at right angles. But the second piece here is not a full second wrap — just a short H-deep band the width of the base, with a flap folding off either side of it to line the base alone.

What is FEFCO 0405?
FEFCO 0405 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. Two separate blanks, like 0404: an outer strip ½W, H, W, H, ½W cut a board thickness oversize so it wraps at right angles. But the second piece here is not a full second wrap — just a short H-deep band the width of the base, with a flap folding off either side of it to line the base alone.
Uses
- Protecting or separating goods inside a larger case
- Jobs where the depth or the fit has to be adjusted after packing
Advantages
- Cut from offcuts or lighter board than the outer case, so it adds little cost
Disadvantages
- Needs 2 separate pieces, so there is more than one tool and more than one part to handle

Recommended board grades
Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
