FEFCO 0444 Box Template Generator
Slim wrap with corner ears, ears on the front wall. The 0443 wrap with the corner ears moved onto the front wall flap, so one ear hangs clear off the end of the blank instead of sitting over a side panel. The chamfer moves with them, onto the inner corner of the overhanging ear.
Not yet plate-checked. This template folds, closes and exports cleanly, but its blank has not yet been matched against the standard's own drawing in detail. Treat it as a starting point and check it before you spend anything.
What is FEFCO 0444?
FEFCO 0444 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. The 0443 wrap with the corner ears moved onto the front wall flap, so one ear hangs clear off the end of the blank instead of sitting over a side panel. The chamfer moves with them, onto the inner corner of the overhanging ear.
Uses
- General packing where a simple, economical board box is wanted
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
Disadvantages
- No standard style suits every product; check the fit against a sample before committing to a tool

Recommended board grades
Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
