Glued tray, square corner laps. A single-wall tray closed with a plain square lap at each corner, glued to the side wall it folds against. Slit free of the long walls so the lap can swing round. The simplest glued tray in the group.

What is FEFCO 0452?
FEFCO 0452 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. A single-wall tray closed with a plain square lap at each corner, glued to the side wall it folds against. Slit free of the long walls so the lap can swing round. The simplest glued tray in the group.
Uses
- Retail and gift packaging, where the box is seen by the customer
- High-volume packing lines, since a pre-glued blank erects in one movement
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Arrives glued and flat, and erects quickly by hand or by machine
Disadvantages
- The glued joint sets the minimum order — short runs are rarely economical

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
