FEFCO 0423 Box Template Generator
Double-wall tray with hinged lid. The front and back walls fold up and back on themselves and lock through the base like 0424, with a lid hinged off the far edge of the returned back wall. The side walls are plain and single.

What is FEFCO 0423?
FEFCO 0423 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. The front and back walls fold up and back on themselves and lock through the base like 0424, with a lid hinged off the far edge of the returned back wall. The side walls are plain and single.
Uses
- Retail and gift packaging, where the box is seen by the customer
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Locks closed without glue or tape, which saves a consumable and a step
Disadvantages
- Hand-locking takes longer per box than a taped or glued closure

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
