What is FEFCO 0470?
FEFCO 0470 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. A wrap that folds round the contents with a lid locking into the front wall. Ships flat, needs no tape and reopens without tearing.
Uses
- General packing where a simple, economical board box is wanted
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Locks closed without glue or tape, which saves a consumable and a step
Disadvantages
- Hand-locking takes longer per box than a taped or glued closure

Recommended board grades
Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
