FEFCO 0400 Box Template Generator

The end walls hinge off the base alone and finish in a plain half-height return; nothing else on the blank carries an end flap.

What is FEFCO 0400?
FEFCO 0400 is cut and creased from a single blank that folds up around the product, usually without a glued joint. A single run of five panels — base, wall, lid, wall, and a fifth full-width panel that folds back under the base as an inner bottom liner. The end walls hinge off the base alone and finish in a plain half-height return; nothing else on the blank carries an end flap.
Uses
- Protecting or separating goods inside a larger case
Advantages
- Cut from a single blank, so there is one tool and one part to stock
- Cut from offcuts or lighter board than the outer case, so it adds little cost
Disadvantages
- No standard style suits every product; check the fit against a sample before committing to a tool

Single wall B or E flute. E flute where the outside will be printed, since the finer flute takes a cleaner print and creases more sharply.
